GRADUATION REIMAGINED On August 1, 2020 the Class of 2020 graduated on the front lawn of the Academy in their white, floor-length attire holding a dozen red roses. The Academy held three separate, smaller ceremonies with our iconic building as the backdrop. The evening before, SHA held a dress rehearsal and rose toss (see above). Graduates then gathered in the auditorium to listen to commencement addresses. The Class of 2020 and their parents have expressed gratitude for the efforts of senior class moderator, Grace ModicaAmore; events coordinator, Susan Reiser Daniels ’92; and parent and alumna, Debora Monetti ’92 for encouraging SHA to consider the front yard for the ceremony. In short, it was a celebration worthy of these young women’s accomplishments. Congratulations Class of 2020!
