C O R D E C H O 9 of 1920 Theresa O’Neill Emily Bizezicka Creahan Louise Eltges Hens Sr. Margaret Anna Shortis, OSF Sr. Teresita Mildred Eltges, SSJ Louise Eltges Hens was born on March 12, 1902 to German parents. After graduating from SHA, she worked as a stenographer and married Paul Hens on September 12, 1925. She passed away on February 11, 1971. Emily Bizezicka Creahan was born on August 4, 1904 in Buffalo, NY. Her parents immigrated to the United States from Poland, raising a family in Cheektowaga, NY. After graduating from Sacred Heart, Emily worked as a bookkeeper and stenographer. She passed away on January 8, 2002. Sr. Margaret Anna Shortis, OSF was born in 1902 in New York State. After graduating from SHA, she joined the sisters of St. Francis. She lived in Cortland, NY and worked as a teacher in a parochial school. She passed away on January 21, 1948 in Buffalo, NY. Sr. Teresita Mildred Eltges, SSJ was born on August 21, 1901 in New York State to German parents. After graduating from SHA, she joined the Sisters of St. Joseph and moved to Niagara Falls, NY to live in the convent. She worked as a teacher in a parochial school and passed away on July 2, 1990. Loretta Kolkmeyer Weber was born in 1902 in New York State. After graduating from Sacred Heart Academy, she worked as a bookkeeper and married John A. Weber on June 9, 1925. She passed away in 1994.
