BUFFALO ACADEMY OF THE SACRED HEART Annual Report 2022-2023 SHA Loyalty Club Sacred Heart’s most loyal donors are recognized as part of the SHA Loyalty Club. The consistent generosity of these donors for 20 years or more forms the foundation of the Annual Loyalty Fund. Their devotion to Sacred Heart makes it possible for today’s students to flourish. In addition to being a dedicated supporter of SHA, Elizabeth has been recognized as a Christus Super Omnia Distinguished Alumna for her work as an oncologist. She currently lives in Sarasota, FL with her husband and two children. All of that adds up to a very busy life. While the intention to support SHA is always present, her life as an active mom and professional sometimes gets in the way. For this reason, she has elected to support SHA on an ongoing basis, every month. Subscription giving, as this is known, removes responding to a letter or email from her to-do list and allows her to enjoy reading the Cordecho without looking for her checkbook. Liz shares, “I believe in all-girls education. Schools focused specifically on educating young women are not available everywhere, including in Sarasota. I want to support and encourage a faith-filled environment that allows young women to be the best they can be. Sacred Heart gave me so much. I believe that if we are fortunate, we are called to be generous.” 6 Carol Siefert Laschinger ’56 Kenneth and Sandra Levan Maureen Piazza Lopez ’83 Kathleen Seitz Mazurek ’68 Marie Gordon McCarthy ’57 Sharon Jarvis Menchini ’60 Patricia Drzewiecki Nesensohn ’60 Jennifer Pelosi Noah ’93 Barbara Eckert Ochterski ’61 Mary Ann Kennedy O’Connell ’53 Mary Gersitz Patterson ’57* Mary Anne Kreher Peer ’78 Colleen Webb Prorok ’65 Therese Cunningham Reinagel ’61 Barbara Staebell Rooney ’74 Elaine Szczepankiewicz Sattelberg ’72 Mickey McGarry Slind ’56 Cherrie Majkowski Solomon ’73 Florence Hejza Stack ’47 Barbara Eye Stanley ’72 Annette Donaruma Suffoletto ’55 Elaine Reeder Telaak ’58 Susan Barczak Uba ’61 Margaret Mandell Walter ’45 Carol Kolb Wiktorski ’64 JIOIA D’ANDREA-MUCCIARELLI ’23 Elizabeth Guancial ‘97 with her family Called to Give
